Adams F 461; Smith, Rara 163; Renouard 357 f.; Schreiber 188. - Dritte Einzelausgabe. Finés einziges Werk über Arithmetik, zuerst in der "Protomathesis" erschienen. Mit dem schönen Buchschmuck, der meist auf Finé selbst zurückgeht. - Vereinzelt gering fleckig bzw. fingerfleckig, gering gebräunt, wenige Bll. mit kleinerem Braunfleck.

Third edition of Finé's only work on arithmetic, with revisions and renewed preface dated 1542. The work is divided into four books dealing with integers, common fractions, sexagesimal fractions, and proportions. "Title with Colines's 'Quadrivium II' border. On fol. A3r is a headpiece designed by Fine, signed with his initials" (Schreiber). - Slight spotting and thumbing, slight browning, some brownstaining to few leaves. Recent green limp vellum.
