Mit brauner Tinte in sauberer Kursive geschrieben. Mit 51 Tintenzeichnungen (Porträts) auf dem Titel u. im Text. 56 Bll., davon 9 weiß. Flex. Prgt. d. Zt., fleckig u. berieben.

Vgl. VD 16, H 235, Caillet 4926 u. Durling. - Nach der zweite Ausgabe (Frankfurt 1584) von Hagecius' Metoposkopie gefertigte Handschrift. Thaddaus Hagecius ab Hayek (1525-1600) war der bedeutendste böhmische Wissenschaftler des 16. Jh. Bei Antonio Calormano dürfte es sich um Antonios Kalormanos handeln, der in Padua Jura studierte und 1689 in Venedig starb. Die Titelzeichnung ist im Text wiederholt. Vor dem Titel zwei weitere Porträtzeichnungen. - Stellenw. etwas fleckig, erste Bll. mit Wasserfleck im Rand.

Ms. copy of the 1584 edition of Hagecius' metoposcopy. With 51 ink portraits. - Some staining in places, marginal waterstain to first leaves. Limp vellum, rubbed and stained.
