Raphelengius (1539-1597), Schwiegersohn von Christoph Plantin und Leiter der Leidener Filiale des Verlags, war in Leiden Professor für Hebräisch und Arabisch. - Etwas gebräunt u. tlw. wasserrandig; stellenw. mit Marginalien von alter Hand; Titel mit kl. Fehlstelle (auch Porträt verso) u. etwas wasserfleckig, recto mit Archivband verstärkt, im Außenrand durch Tesastreifen gebräunt. Ohne das letzte weiße Blatt.

First edition. With engr. portrait. - Some browning, waterstaining in places, old marginalia here and there; small hole to title and portait on verso, strengthened with archive tape, waterstains and brownstain to title. Without the last blank. Recent boards.
