Shirley 499. - 2. Zustand der neuen, überarbeiteten Platte von 1680 mit Druckprivileg (vgl. auch Sh. 451). Oben rechts num. 1. - Vor allem in den weißen Rändern leicht gebräunt u. etwas fleckig. Grüntöne anoxydiert u. kl. Koloritbrüche hinterklebt; rechts kl. Löchlein. Je 1 verblaßter Stempel in der östl. Hemisphäre bzw. linken weißen Unterecke, sowie 1 weiterer verso überklebt. oRR.

Printed from the new revised plate from 1680 with updated geographical informations: showing California with a pointed tip, and featuring "Nova Guinea" and "Quiri Regio" on the left-hand hemisphere. Here in its second state with the privilege added below the title. - Contemp. col. Light browning and spotting mainly to margins. Repairs to several cracks caused by oxidation of green col.; small hole at right. Faint stamps each to eastern hemisphere and lower white corner, and another one verso pasted over with paper. Waf.
