Die Homannsche Offizin hier angegeben mit "bureau des héritiers d'Homann". - Gering gebräunt, horizontale Faltstelle etwas stärker, links kl. Koloritverwischungen. Meist kleine u. wenige längere Einrisse (1 mit kl. Fehlstelle) an den beiden Faltstellen bzw. in u. oberhalb der maritimen Hemisphäre hinterlegt. Unter Passepartout gerahmt; ungeöffnet.
Double (watery and land) hemisphere world map "using an unusual type of uncentered azimuthal projection. The Mer de l'Ouest is evident, and western Alaska is an island (Ile Nouvelle)" (P./K.). Scarce first edition, later also published by Lattré and Santini-Remondini. - Col. incl. framework. Minor browning, a bit stronger to horizontal fold, at left minor col. smudging. Some rep. tears (few longer ones, and 1 with small loss) to folds resp. in and above the "hemisphere maritime". Framed; unopened.
