Aus der lat. Ausg. 1601. - Gereinigt u. neu aufgeleimt, noch leicht gebräunt u. vereinzelt etwas fleckig. Randeinriß links bis knapp ins Bild hinterlegt.

Printed from the third and last plate: dated 1587, with imprint and a new cartouche at upper margin. From the Latin ed. 1601 (Broecke: "200 copies printed"). "This one is most easily identified by the lack of a bulge to the south-western coastline of South America... There is also additional information on Terra Australis, Solomon Islands and added locations on the west coasts of North and South America" (Burden). - Uncol. Washed and sized, still light browning and some occasional spotting. Restored tear at left just affecting image.
