Seltene Seekarte aus der Erstausgabe von D.s berühmtem Seeatlas. - Dezent gereinigt, vereinzelt noch gering fleckig; neu aufgeleimt u. am Bug wohl neu zusammengesetzt. Unten Bugeinriß u. im weißen Rand 2 kl. Wurmlöcher hinterlegt sowie Riß durch die rechte Bildecke rep.; 3 weitere kl. Randeinrisse.

Rare seachart from "one of the most important cartographical works ever produced" (TWE 190), depicting the sea between the Arabian peninsula (north of Dhofar), the Persian Gulf, the Gulf of Oman, and part of India's Eastern coast. From the first edition (without numbering). - 2 sheets joined; uncol. Carefully washed, still minor spotting in places; resized and centerfold rejoined. At bottom repairs to tear at fold, 2 small marginal worm holes, and corner tear at right just affecting image; 3 small marginal tears.
