Ein anatomisches Prachtwerk, das die englische Vorlage weit übertrifft. Enthält 31 voll ausgeführte anatom. Kupfertafeln sowie 31 entsprechende Umrißkupfer mit eingestochenen, auf den Drucktext verweisenden kl. Buchstaben u. Ziffern. "These plates (of the French ed.) represent whole skeletons, or single bones, the latter either in natural size or in seizes near the natural" (Ch.-F.). - Etwas gebräunt und stockfleckig, stellenweise stärker, wenige Ränder stark. Buchblock mehrf. gebrochen, einige Lagen lose; Titel, wenige Textbl. und 1 Tafel im Rand mit Stempel. Es fehlt das Umrißkupfer zu Tafel 21.

With engr. front. and 61 (of 62) engr. plates, large-fol. - Some browning and foxing, stronger in places, heavy to few margins. Binding loose. Ink stamp to title, few text leaves and margin of 1 plate. Lacking outline engr. no. 21. Bound in old half leather, very worn, spine broken.
