We have been holding our auction sales of rare and valuable books, antique maps and city views since 1971. In addition to regular auctions, we have steadily expanded our offers from collections as well as speciality themes. Important libraries have been extremely successfully auctioned off by us – the libraries of the Counts of Schönborn-Buchheim, parts of the Princely Fürstenberg Library as well as the collection of the industrialist and Bosch CEO Hans L. Merkle, to name just a few. In the year 2000 we complemented our Auction activities with a department of Old and Modern Art. In the past few years, Königstein has become a venue for book collectors, librarians and antiquarian book dealers from all around the world, when each year in spring and fall our house opens the auction season on the outskirts of the City of Frankfurt.

We would like to invite you in this way to participate in our upcoming auctions in the form of a consignment for sale, whether it is a whole collection or a single valuable item. We are always accepting consignments for our upcoming sales, in particular:

Manuscripts · Incunabula · Early Printed Books · Atlases · Voyages and Travel · Science · Craftsmanship · Medicine · Literature · Modern Illustrated and Press Books · Decorative Prints · Maps and Views · Old Masters · Modern and Contemporary Art.

Short-term consignments for our Spring Auctions in May 2012 are still possible by prior arrangement. If you are considering selling items, please contact us by e-mail or postal mail. We will be happy to visit your location to view and consign large collections. We are always ready to advise collectors, dealers and libraries professionally and without obligation with a view to possible future disposals.
