Behandelt in Dialogform die Entstehung von Wind, Geräuschen, Donner, Flüssen, Tälern und Bergen. Autor war Baumeister unter Papst Gregor XIII. - Vereinzelt gering fleckig, 2 Bll. mit kl. Wurmgang im Oberrand (auf S. 3 f. ausgefüllt). Titel wohl gereinigt, 2 (1 gestrichener) alte, verblasste Besitzvermerke auf dem Titel. Fehlt nach Vergleichsexemplar das w. Schlussblatt.
First edition, one of the great rarities of the meteorological literature of the 16th century. Treatise in form of a dialogue between Tiberio and Camillo. - Minor spotting in places, small wormhole to upper margin of 2 leaves (one infilled), title presumably cleaned and 2 (1 erased) old inscriptions faded. Lacking last blank. Bound in 19th century half cloth, lower hinge cracked.
