Holzschn.-Druckermarken u. sehr zahlreichen Criblé-Initialen in 2 Größen. 10 nn., 390 (recte 394) num., 90 nn. Bll. Hldr. um 1800 mit etwas Rvg. u. mod. Rsch., gering berieben u. bestoßen, vorderes Innengelenk gelockert.

Teil mit eigenem Titelblatt mit umfangreichen mehrsprachigen Indices "fut une heureuse idée de Robert, et il l'exécuta avec habileté" (Renouard). - Durchgängig mit rotbrauner Tinte regliert, stellenweise gering fleckig; Titel etw. angeschmutzt mit Läsuren im Bundsteg und teilw. ergänztem Außensteg mit geringem Verlust der Einfassungslinie der Druckermarke; Bll. 102-103 mit langem alt geklebtem Riss, Bll. 265-272 mit leichten Quetschfalten, Bll. 318-319 im Rand angeschmutzt und mit geringen Läsuren. Titel u. Widmungsblatt mit teilw. gelöschtem Besitzvermerk von Charles Danthon (wohl der um 1800 tätige Jurist u. Politiker), Vorsatz mit mont. Etikett "M. Vidal, Inspecteur de l'Academie, Bourges. 456. Cher."

With 2 (repeated) large woodcut printing devices and noumerous criblé initials. - Ruled in red in throughout, occasional little staining; first title somewhat soiled, few tears to inner margin, larger part of outer margin replaced with little loss of border line of the printing device; leaves 102-103 with large tear, leaves 318-319 somewhat soiled, 318 with minor damage to outer margin, leaf 319 with torn away corner. Owners inscription of Charles Danthon, ownership label to front pastedown. Bound in late 18th cent. half-calf, little traces of wear, spine label renewed, front hinge coming loose.
