Europa/Afrika mit Amerika im Zentrum, basierend auf den großen Karten von N. de Fer 1713 bzw. Châtelain 1719. Hier im dritten und letzten Zustand mit Verlegeradresse und neuen Ausschmückungen, diese jeweils in fig. und ornamentalen Kartuschen: Pläne und Umgebungskarten bzw. Ansichten von Rio de Janeiro, Havanna, Mexiko, Panama, Portobelo, Vera Cruz, Gibraltar und dem Kap der Guten Hoffnung. - Sorgfältig restauriert: gereinigt und stabilisiert, stellenweise noch leicht fleckig; geplatzte alte Faltstellen und einige Randeinrisse sowie kl. Wurmlöcher hinterlegt.

Third and last state with view of Cape of Good Hope and new insets of Vera Cruz, Beye de Rio de Janeiro, La Havane, Porto Bello, Istme de Panama et al and imprint information, showing California as an island. - 2 sheets joined; col. in full. Carefully restored: cleaned and sized, still light spotting in places; restorations to large splits at former foldings, marginal tears and a few small holes.
