Laut Bifolco/Ronca erstmals um 1558 von Antonio Lafreri hrsg., danach bei Duchetti, de Nobili, Orlandi und van Schoel. Mit Wasserzeichen: Kniehender Mann mit Kreuz im Schild. - Abdruck leicht flau. Vereinzelt leicht fleckig und Bug etwas leimschattig. Schwache horizontale Knickfalte mittig.

Rare map of the Kingdom of Naples, oriented to the East and richly decorated with ships. According to Bifolco/Ronca in its final state (of 6), first published by A. Lafreri "dopo 1558... la carta ebbe diverse tirature, firmate da Duchetti (1582), Pietro de Nobili (1590 circa), Giovanni Orlandi (&)... Van Schoel ([both] 1602)". - With watermark: Kneeling man holding a small cross in shield (cf. Woodward 25-27). - Uncol. Impression lightly faded; light occasional spotting and some discolouration from paste at centerfold. Slight horizontal crease fold at center.
