Novacco 95, Tooley Italian Atlases 431 und Bachmann III/808 (jeweils die Erstausgabe von 1580 mit Legende 1-128). - Sehr seltener Nachstich mit geändertem Titel sowie neugestochener und erweiterter Legende (Reste der alten teilw. noch lesbar). Mit Wasserzeichen Einhorn im Wappen (s.u.). - Gereinigt und stabilisiert, stellenweise noch leicht fleckig. Seitlich und oben bis an die Einfassung bzw. unten bis in die Legende (unter Verlust der Nrn. 11 u. 22) beschnitten.

Scarce and fine bird's-eye view after the one by Maiocchius-Bonifacio-Duchetti of 1580 ("Palermo citta principalissima nella Sicilia"). Newly engraved and with new title. and also enlarged legend (remnants of the former one partly still visible). With watermark: "Shield with unicorn E" (Woodward 228 mentioning the view of Rome by C.). - Uncol. Cleaned and sized, still light spotting in places. Cut to neatline at sides and at top resp. just into legend at bottom with loss of no. 11 and 22.
