Wing C 7485. - Einzige Ausgabe, selten. Erschien anlässlich der totalen Sonnenfinsternis vom 29. März (8. April) 1652 am sogenannten "Black Monday". Der englische Botaniker und Astrologe Nicholas Culpeper (1616-1654) war einer der "Fifth Monarchy Men", diese erwarteten nach der Hinrichtung Karls II. 1649 ein fünftes und letztes Reich. "Culpeper published two Black Monday tracts, one before the event, The Year of Wonders, and one after, Catastrophe magnatum. Both explicitly declared that Black Monday would usher in the Fifth Monarchy ... Culpepers writings had a particularly broad impact" (M. J.
