Barthez, F. Plantes & Herbier (Einbandtitel). 2 Mappen. O.O. (Vichy ?), dat. 1853. Fol. (41:29,8 cm). Mit 217 farbigen Aquarellen sowie 1 Bleistiftzeichnung von Pflanzen und Bäumen. Die Bll. jeweils in den Ecken abgeschrägt und mit Tuschrand eingefaßt sowie auf hellgrünem Unterlegpapier montiert. In roten Hschafldr.-Mappen d. Zt.
Sehr schöne Sammlung von Pflanzenaquarellen. Meist mit feiner Tintenschrift in Rot (im Bild) oder im Rand auch in Schwarz auf den grünen Unterlegpapieren beschriftet. Es werden zahlreichen Nutz- und Zierpflanzen, Obstpflanzen sowie Bäume dargestellt, darunter Eiche, Faulbaum, Ginster, Glycinie, Haselnuss, japanischer Lackbaum, Lorbeer, Mais, Passionsfrucht, Wildkirsche uvm. - Vorderdeckel der 1. Mappe mit Widmungsnotiz auf Innendeckel an einen nicht identifizierbaren Adressaten "de l'auteur Barthez".
