Slight browning or staining in places;  occasional underlinings and marginal notes in earlier hands in vol. 1; small waterstain at centerfold to first leaves of vol. 2. Occasional marginal tears; marginal lesions to engr. title and following 2 leaves in vol. 1 repaired, engr. title remargined at right with loss of image added in manuscript, at bottom early ownership inscription shaved; also repairs to inner margin of engr. title in vol. 2 (with small losses of border). Mod. bookplate (see above). Bound in contemporary limp vellum, later endpapers, parts of ties present.
