Koeman I, 8150:1D/2-6; Laor 344-349. - Erschien erstmals 1652 im Atlas Antiquus und weiter nur in 4 Ausgaben des Atlas Novus 1662 und 1680. Hier aus der latein. Ausg. 1662. In Ostorientierung, die Einzeltitel mit Bezeichnung der einzelnen Stämme. - Stellenweise leicht fleckig, vereinzelt Knickfalten. Bug- oder Randeinrisse tlw. bis in den Bildrand hinterlegt; 2 Bll. wohl gereinigt. Fehlt das mittlere obere Blatt.
5 sheets (of 6) of Janssonius' famous wallmap of the Holy Land divided into the twelve tribes of Israel. - 5 sheets in original (3) resp. recent (2) colouring, partly heightened with gold. Light spotting and slight crease marks in places. Repairs to a few tears partly affecting image; 2 sheets probably cleaned. Lacking upper middle sheet.
