"This is one of the most decorative and popular of all the early maps of Africa" (N.). "It first appeared in an atlas in this second state in Blaeu's Atlantis Appendix of 1630" (B.). Second state with Blaeu's name in the title cartouche changed to "Guiljelmo Blaeuw"; our copy from the German edition 1634 or 1635. - Col. Light occasional spotting.
