Sein Werk enthält u. a. eine der ersten Bibliographien alchemistischer Werke (S. 135-144), die wegen ihrer exemplarischen Bedeutung von Thorndike komplett abgedruckt wird (Bd. V, S. 679 ff.). Bemerkenswert sind auch die ungewöhnlichen Holzschnitte, deren Eigenart von fast allen Bibliographen hervorgehoben wird. - Ränder stellenweise leicht gebräunt und vereinzelt mit kleinen Wasserflecken oder sehr blass stockfleckig; Titel leicht gebräunt; zum Ende einige Randmarkierungen in Tinte. Includes an early alchemical bibliography (pp. 135-144). - Slight browning to white margins in places and occasional small waterstains or faint foxing; some browning to title-page; some ink notes in the end. Bound in contemporary vellum gilt to covers and spine, some rubbing, slight foxing, a few little wormholes. Whithout free endpapers.
