Abbey, Travel 372; Atabey 1350; Blackmer 1863; Lipperheide Lb 45. - Prächtige Porträts aus dem seltenen Werk (s. u.). Jeweils mit französischer Bezeichnung, arabischen Inschriften in den Oberecken, unten Kampfszenen oder Ansichten. - Leicht flaue Abdrucke; stockfleckig, weiße Ränder stärker. Jeweils am Oberrand unter Passepartout montiert.
Fourteen rare and fine colour-printed mezzotints from one of the greatest colour-books on the Ottoman Empire. With following portraits on an oval frame with a view at bottom: "Sultan Achmet Khan I (&) II - Amurat III - Bajazet II - Ibrahim - Mahomet III (&) IV - Mustapha (&) II - Orkan - Othman II (&) III - Selim II - Soliman II". - 14 sheets. Slight fade impressions; overall spotting and foxing, stronger to blank margins. Mounted at upper margin under passepartout.
