Vicaire 427 f.; Horn-Arndt 451; Oberlé, Fastes 135; Bitting 203. - Erste Ausgabe. "Auch dieses Werk darf als ganz hervorragend angesprochen werden. Eine Anleitung zum Tranchieren ist besonders interessant. Auch seine 'Grundzüge des gastronomischen Anstandes' sind sehr lesenswert und für die damalige Zeit aufschlussreich" (Schrämli 61). - Etwas stockfleckig, Titel fleckig, Tafeln tls. etwas knapp beschnitten, vord. Innengelenk angebrochen.
First edition. With engr. front. & 16 plates. - Some foxing, staining to title, front inner hinge cracked but sound. Contemp. half-calf, label to spine, rubbed and worn, plates in places cut to edge, front joint partly cracked.
