Die französische Or.-Ausgabe mit denselben Holzschnitten war einge Tage zuvor erschienen. "The official description of the entry, these French and Italian editions are the first of the 'entree' volumes to be fully illustrated" (Mortimer). Nur diese italienische Ausgabe mit Beschreibung der Aufführung der Komödie "Calandra" von Bernardo Dovizi da Bibbiena, die auf Wunsch der großen florentinischen Gemeinde Lyons aufgeführt wurde. Die mit der Planung des Festprogramms beauftragten Maurice Scève, Claude de Taillemont, G. du Choul und Barthelemy Aneau verfassten auch die vorliegende Festschrift. Die schönen, Bernard Salomon zugeschriebenen Holzschnitte mit Darstellungen von Triumphbögen, Festbauten, Schiffe der Naumachie, einer Ansicht der 'Place de Change' in Lyon u.a. Abweichend zu der italienischen benennt die französische Ausgabe den 23. September als Tag des Einzugs des Königs. - Gleichmäßig schwach gebräunt, wenige kleine Flecken, Blatt G4 mit 2 kl. Ausrissen am Fußsteg. - Exlibris von Ambroise Firmin Didot, dat. 1850, auf dem freien Vorsatz verso, darunter ein älterer Klebstoffrest.

First Italian edition, published only a few days after the French edition and comprising the same 15 large woodcuts attributed to Bernard Salomon. Only this Italian edition with the account of the comedy "Calandra" by Bernardo Dovizi da Bibbiena, which was performed at the request of Lyon's large Florentine community. Maurice Scève, Claude de Taillemont, G. du Choul and Barthelemy Aneau, who were in charge of planning the festive programme, also wrote this commemorative publication.
