With 4 engr. titles, 2 engr. folding plates, 17 full-page and 128 mainly half-page emblematic engravings. - Some marginal fingermarking or faint dampstaining in places, little occasional worming to bottom margin. Restored tears to first title and folding plates, book block broken at front causing tears to inner margin of 3rd leaf. Marginal tear to p. 311/312, p. 117-120 and 453-454 misbound, one engraving touched by binders knife. Part 2 from p. 49 with pale colour stain in the text. The 8 p. dedication to G. Gonzaga misbound before the other dedications. Lacking the final blank leaf. Bound in modern half-vellum with ms. title to spine.
