Only edition of this monumental work. 4 parts in 5 volumes (text, atlas and plate-descriptions) with 200 engr. plates, most of them coloured. - Occasional slight browning, some foxing throughout; few small tears to top-margins of vol. 2 (repaired with archival tissue); small abrasions to the lower right-margins of most plates; slight warping to the beginning of both textvolumes; title pages with minor paper flaw (probably from removed stickers); sticker of the University of Bonn to the last plate-volume's fly-leaf. Recent half-calf with coloured spine labels.
