"The volume consists of thirty-six woodcuts of heads, parts of the body and full figures, printed one to a leaf with explanatory text on the facing page ... after at least seven Le Clerc editions the blocks passed to Guillaume Le Bé" (Mortimer). Vortitel (mit der Bordüre): "Livre de pourtraicture". - Tlw. stärker gebräunt; stellenw. mit restaurierten Randläsuren, besonders die letzten 3 Bll., Bl. 30 mit restauriertem Einriss.
