First edition. 2 vols with 41 folding engr. plates. - Neat, barely stained, evenly only slightly browned, wide-margined copy. The verso of the titles with minor adhesive residue from removed bookplates. Glue shadowed in the margins of the endpapers. Bound in contemporary full calf, spines richly gilt and with gilt labels; restored, leather at joints, capitals, some corners and edges skillfully renewed, one of the spine labels replaced. Cover with smoothed scuff marks.
