Drake's circumnavigation of the world 1577-1580, giving an account of the aromatic plants, fruits, and roots observed. With 15 (13 full-page) woodcuts of palm trees, coconuts, cacao etc. in the text. - 2. Third Latin edition. With 28 mostly full-page woodcuts of plants. "The present third edition of 1579 is the first to contain an illustration of coffee beans ... the first representation of the subject in a western printed book" (Hünersdorff). - 3. Second Latin edition of parts 1-2 of Monarde's 'Historia medicinal', with 13 mostly full-page woodcuts. Added two full-page illustrations of tobacco species compared to the first edition of 1574. "His work, rather than Liebault's, became the chief source of information on the subject in Europe" (Arents I, S. 246). - 4. First Latin edition. With 2 woodcuts.
