Special Auction: From the Estate of Otto von Bismarck

In spring of 2017 German auctioneers Reiss & Sohn will offer about 200 lots from the estate of the first Chancellor of Germany, Otto von Bismarck. The collection was preserved until 1948 in the Bismarck Museum located in Schönhausen Castle (Elbe). The extraordinary collection includes splendid honorary certificates, executed and elaborately bound by foremost artists of the era, and rare and early photographic albums, presented to Bismarck by admirers and devotees from all over the world.

The auction catalogue includes about 200 positions and is available as printed version (fee) and online at the end of April 2017.
