With 2 (1 folding) engraved maps, 7 (1 double-page, 1 folding) hand-coloured aquatint plates, 1 folding engraved facsimile, 1 woodcut plan and 3 plates of engraved music. - Some browning, offsetting and staining in places. Small marginal tear to folding map. Lacking half-title. Contemporary half calf spine gilt and with crest and monogram "EXB" at head, somewhat rubbed and scuffed. Bookplates of John Ewart Davies and George Harwood.
