"Africae tabula nova. 1570". Kol. Kupf.-Kte. (aus A. Ortelius). Mit ausgem. Rollwerkskart. und kol. maritimer Staffage. 37:50 cm.
"Geographically it is a close copy of Gastaldi's map of 1564, O. adding only one new name Cayneca and making his Cape more pointed" (T.). From the Latin ed. 1571, with date and "Biledulgerid". - Col. in full. Cleaned and sized, still light browning and spotting, slight waterstain at lower center. Centerfold strengthened with small repaired tear and hole at top.
