Fine sammelband. - I. First edition. His major cosmological treatise, an exposition of his theory of the harmony of the universe. Title-page in first issue according to Caspar. With 6 engravings on 5 fold. plates, numerous. woodcuts and printed musical notations in the text. - II. First edition. His replica and defense of the "Harmonices" against Robert Fludd. Frequently found as "Appendix" to the 2nd edition of K.'s "Mysterium cosmographicum". Caspar lists this as a separate work. - Minor browning or foxing in both works. I. Deleted inscriptions to title verso, restored marginal tear to pp. 83/84. Bound in adequate full-calf to style, slip-case. For provenance see above.
