"Contains 36 remarkable woodcuts of early appearance, mostly in outline and with double-line borders forming solid black squares at the angles" (Fairfax Murray). - Overall slight browning and spotting, some wormholes to the end, some thumbing and slight dampmarking to first leaves. First title of the volume with ownership inscription of the Carthusian monastery of Gaming/Austria. Early 16th cent. pigskin over wooden boards, one clasp, spine rubbed, scribblings to front inner cover, worming to rear inner cover.
