Kupferkarte u. 21 großen Textkupfern. 16 Bll., 248 S., 18 Bll. Prgt. d. Zt. mit spanischen Kanten, angestaubt, etwas fleckig.
First edition. With engr. title, engr. portrait, engr. map and 21 in-text engravings. - Some browning and foxing and fingerstaining in places. Few faint ink stains. Engr. title with skilfully repaired tear, loss of image carefully redrawn, and small backed marginal tear. Map with short tear to gutter. Contemporary vellum with overlapping flaps, dusty, somewhat stained.

Mandelslos Tagebuch seiner Reise nach Persien und besonders Indien "mit wichtigen Beiträgen zur Ethnographie Madagaskars und des Kaps der Guten Hoffnung" (Dünnhaupt). Behandelt auch - von Olearius aus anderen Quellen gezogen - Japan und China. Die Karte zeigt Asien. - Etwas gebräunt u. teilw. stock- u. fingerfleckig. Wenige blasse Tintenflecken. Gest. Titel mit geschickt ergänztem Ausriss, Bildverlust sorgfältig nachgezeichnet, u. hinterlegtem Randeinriss. Karte mit kurzem Einriss im Bug.
