Janssonius' famous wall map of the Holy Land divided into the twelve tribes of Israel; our copy without text on verso. - 7 sheets, not joined. Uncol. Light browning and spotting, some discolouration from paste and slight creasing at centerfolds; upper left sheet with small split at top affecting title. The 2 left parts printed together on 1 sheet. Attached: 6 (of 7) sheets of the same map in contemp. col. in outline. Lacking the sheet with the 2 left parts. - Together 13 sheets.
Koeman I, 8150:1D/1-6; Laor 343-349 (Horn). - Erschien erstmals 1652 im Atlas Antiquus und weiter nur in 4 Ausgaben des Atlas Novus 1662 und 1680. Vorliegend ohne Rückentext. In Ostorientierung, die Einzeltitel mit Bezeichnung der einzelnen Stämme. - Leicht gebräunt u. fleckig, Bugfalten etwas leimschattig u. teilw. leicht geknittert; das obere linke Blatt mit kl. Ausriss oben bis in den Kopftitel. Die 2 linken Teilstücke zusammen auf 1 Qu.-fol.-Bl. gedruckt. - Dazu: 6 (statt 7) Bll. der gleichen Karte in grenzkol.
