Carte-a-figures in its fourth and last state, distinguishable at the lack of the imaginary island of 'Frisland'. From the Latin edition of the Atlas Maior 1662. - Original colouring, several towns and some decorations heightened with gold. Some browning and some shine-through of text in places. Centerfold with light discolouration from paste and with 3 small repaired wormholes at top of image; small paper flaw at top left affecting neatline.

Bug leicht leimschattig u. mit 3 kl. Wurmlöchern oben im Bild; kl. Schabstelle oben links in der Einfassung.
