Rare chart from A. Ashley's English edition of Waghenaer's sea atlas depicting the coasts of a part of Jylland between Bøvlingbjerg and the island of Sylt. The new maps were cut by various engravers: De Bry, Jodoucus Hondius, Augustine Ryther, and Johannes Rutlinger (see Koeman IV, S. 499). - Uncol. Minor browning, some shine-through of text on verso. At center several printer's creases. Tear to upper third of centerfold and small marginal tear restored; at right cut narrow and at left also slightly shaved. Backed with fine tissue.
