Rare map resp. bird's eye-view of the bay of Pozzuoli and surroundings by Duchetti's heir (= G. Gherardi) after the one by Cartaro & Grassi of 1584, with 20 references in the cartouche. First state of 2. - With watermark: letter "M" under star in shield (cf. Woodward 315-321; other maps by Duchetti-Brambilla). - Uncol. Light browning and some spotting in places. Small repaired tear at upper margin just affecting image; vertical fold at center.
