Containing the early translation of the 'Canon paschalis' by Anatolius von Alexandria, in latin-greek parallel text edition. The fine woodcuts showing the symbolised month. - Some browning throughout, faint staining in places, browning and staining to title. Bound in contemporary vellum, ms. title to spine, some staining.

Der französische Jesuit und Chronologe Gilles Bouchier (Aegidius Bucherius, 1576-1665) veröffentlichte hier erstmals wichtige chronologische Dokumente: die Chronographie von 354, den 457 erstellten 'Cursus paschalis' des Mathematikers Victorius von Aquitanien zur Berechnung des Osterdatums, sowie insbesondere den 'Canon paschalis' des bedeuten Mathematikers und Computisten Anatolius von Alexandria (um 220-282), "nunc primum e veteri m.s. in lucem editus" in lat.-griech. Paralleltext. Die blattgr. Holzschnitte zeigen symbolische römische Monatsdarstellungen. - Durchgängig gering gebräunt, stellenw. gering fleckig, Titel gebräunt u. fleckig.
